Drs. Coen, Gray, and Henriksen are proud to announce a new associate at Helena Vision Center, Dr. Matthew J. Nottingham.
Born and raised in Helena, Montana, Dr. Nottingham graduated from Helena High School in 2003. He went on to continue his education at Montana Tech, where he graduated with honors in biological science and played basketball for the Orediggers. During his career at Montana Tech, Dr. Nottingham received the Rick Shaw Memorial Award, which is given to the student who best exemplifies the collegiate athlete. In May of 2012, he graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry where he received the Southwest Contact Lens Scholarship for Excellence in Contact Lens Fitting, an award voted on by clinical professors. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Nottingham received an additional year of training through a residency in ocular disease from the Huntington VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.
